What is the DJ Masterclass?
After years of repeated requests to mentor or teach other DJs his approach, Matthew launched the DJ Masterclass.
The DJ Masterclass by DJ Matthew Bee is a two-day program where students learn about Matthew's professional DJ journey and career, with him sharing the knowledge and skills they need to one day become successful DJs themselves.
Beyond theory, the Masterclass covers the practical side — from choosing the right music and prepping tracks to the fundamentals of mixing.
A focused approach
Depending on demand, the Masterclass runs at least twice a year — in autumn and in spring. It can be delivered in English when the group is English-speaking. With a maximum of three students, every participant gets focused attention.

Built for beginners — useful for pros
The Masterclass is built for beginners but also for existing DJs who want to hear Matthew's experience first-hand. Every student gets 1-on-1 instruction across multiple types of professional DJ gear — turntables, CDJ 350, RX3 controllers, CDJ 2000 NX2. The second day focuses on recording a promo mix uploaded to each student's Mixcloud profile, plus refining mixing techniques.
The start of your career
On the theory side: how to talk to promoters, clubs, and restaurants; choosing and building a DJ name; setting up a professional Mixcloud / Soundcloud profile; social-media strategy. A professional photo session you can use for the start of your DJ career is also included.
